The past couple of weeks there were several posts from content creators on X that asked questions like “What is destroying society” etc. I replied social media. I've posted this prior social media is a tool not a forum to enact harm, to annoy for the sole purpose to annoy, dox, follow within reality when you’ve not had a singular conversation let alone invite by that person or persons , or harass. That is why over the years platforms have shifted their policies because of the crimes and harms users have enacted stemming from it. Users would be well served to cease concocting beefs that are singular sided, concocting “enemies”, and problems towards people they factually aren’t acquainted to within reality. Issues of preying, sexual harassing, and sexually exploiting is a no brainer being there are laws as of 2025 against it, criminal and civil. There is reality then there is social media. Social media are fragments of users sentience. To be under the impression it is reality and that you are associated to people you aren’t, connected/controlling over people you aren't, or harbor resentful animosity towards those you aren’t associated to within reality is delusional it isn’t reality. That narrative is detrimental if you’ve not had a singular or brief direct communication with. If you have a problem with a user contacting them as yourself sending your issue is really the sole legal recourse but harassing people by third parties that doesn’t obviously have a legit goal, monitoring, doxing, and concocting weirdo issues etc is not solely stupid but usually those that are being targeted aren't associated to problems anyhow therefore the entire “problem” is a figment of any issues imagination. It's not real it's been contrived and concocted within those addicted to social media that enact those harms, the attention they don't receive within reality, and don't comprehend what social media is or what it was designed for. IE I don't network via social media any longer because of issues that arose from it. I spoke during an interview of that as to really network with 2025’s framework safely are mandated vetted spaces preferably within person. Online is riddled with psychos, predators, etc. The days of connecting with people online are gone because of the nature of our world. I wrote of this several years prior and definitely don’t request assistance for serious issues like domestic violence, harassment, psychos that won’t leave you alone, etc via social media because it’s likely you’ll be faced with the issues I have where the line between assistance. connection, and eventually resentment from outside sources of “Why do they get the attention? I want attention as well. I deserve attention” or things are misconstrued by parties are blurred it morphs into a heap lunacy that could’ve been solved from the beginning. Public forums don’t ultimately work. What is effective in 2025 are closed mandated networks that arguably could have semi connections but ultimately within real life is where to have factual connections not online. Open forums and platforms aren’t secure manners to communicate to those you aren’t affiliated within reality.
